I work closely with leaders and teams across small and large organizations to transform their approach to collaboration and design.
I find that I work best with with multidisciplinary teams, coming together to tackle complex problems.
My approach to design leadership at Future Friendly is to make a space for everyone to bring their individual experience and creative intuition to do their best work.
Outside of my day-to-day I stay active in the wider design community as an educator, mentor & coach.
Whether you intentionally design for one or not someones well-being will be impacted by the work you produce.
Be conscious of long behaviours that you are enabling through the products and services you design.
There will always be new things to learn and tools to use.
Focus on always learning rather than trying to become a master of everything.
The best thing that you can do for yourself and for the project is realise that you can't solve it in a silo.
By calling in subject matter experts and coupling it with challenging assumptions throughout the process, you can solve it collectively.
Making it real as quickly as possible is the only way to get a shared understanding of the problem and to build the confidence required to progress.
You will get real reactions, not baseless opinions.
